I'm sorry @Ron Ashurst but the text that @Rich Bryce sent was sent in jest and was never meant to be taken seriously. If this was basis for kicking the rant over the whatsapp group, it was a flawed attack. For clarity the whatsapp group was setup by a small group of people who did not want to loose touch with friends that had for their own reasons left the forum. There was never any threat to the main forum and this perceived threat was only in DD's head. From memory DD admitted that he had approached the whole subject in the wrong way and it was his constant attacks and decision not to adhere to the forum rules that resulted in him getting a ban. In addition DD used pm's, text and the telephone behind the scenes all the time, so he had no reason to call out other members for staying in contact away from the forum. From all that I read the ban is not going to be overturned despite an attempt to get back onto the forum, so why you and DD and any other supporters who cannot accept the decision just pack in your constant bitching on the forum. Here’s a joke to keep this post on topic! A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?" The dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your mother, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the working class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense." The little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has soiled his diaper. The little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about." The little boy replies, "Well, while capitalism is screwing the working class, the government is sound asleep, the people are being ignored and the future is in deep shit." Surely though the rules should be applied the same to everyone. The empirical evidence is that this is not the case. This is why I had said that I felt DD had been treated shoddily. Generally there are two sides to an argument and the truth lays somewhere in the middle. However none of the posts on one side of this spat are being removed, but the other side has been censored. If this is to be dealt with then BOTH sides need to be treated the same which is blatantly NOT the case. I will not post further on this but this whole unnecessary shitstorm is a bad joke.
