    Howdy!

I am getting back to riding after being away for 15 years. The 650cc range made the most sense, but none of the bikes really ticked all the boxes, until the Trident. The wife has her sights on another brand (Kawi Vulcan S--shes a shorter rider :) ), but hey.... In any case, very much looking forward to getting back into it!

Welcome to the forum. You don’t mention how tall your Mrs is but mine is 5’5” and fits on our Street Triple easily.

Hi and welcome. Great choice I think, all the road testers are saying the Trident is a great bike for former bikers returning to two wheels after a break. It will be good to hear your impressions once you get the new toy.

TY! She's 5'4", so similar. She just doesn't like the look of the ST, I'm afraid....too much " bug" according to her.

TY! Looks to be late Feb, early March. Just in time for it to start warming up again, here in the Carolinas (USA).

Welcome! Let us know how the new bike is. Also, your wife can't go wrong with the Vulcan S -my brother rides one and he can't stop raving about it.

You may have seen it but 44 Teeth on Youtube have done a review on this bike. Looks like it probably takes the crown from the SV650 as best value for money bike. Looks really good.

    Hey, Joe!

I have not--with coming back to riding, I leaned toward the lower-rev range bikes. I have heard nothing but great things about them, however. Who knows what the future will bring, though!
