Haven’t been able to get out and ride because when the weathers good I’m working and when I am not working the weather is shite. So having serious withdrawal Taken to going out to the garage and talking to her Anyway snapped a few pics instead B&W arty farty My pride and joy And then more arty ....
Love the pics and love even more that you visit the garage to talk to her. Of course, if we brought them inside then we wouldn't have to go to the garage for the between ride visits
Yesterday I was bored so took a trip to Staffordshire Triumph. I wasn't in the maket for anything new, but when I was wondering around I came across this bargan and just could not resist A Triumph Raven GTX jacket .......
I was going to get new tires about a month ago, but had to hold off. Sadly, in the meantime my Triumph dealership closed doors and went out of business. I can of course get tires from another shop, but no one is going to work on the bike or do maintenance. I liked my dealership, so I'm sad those guys are unemployed now. Taking the bike in for tires tomorrow.
It is always disappointing when a business goes under, particularly if in the past you have always had good service from them. Unfortunately all around the world this is now a coomon occurence . I hope you can get your tyres sorted with the new supplier....
That sucks. The nearest dealership to me is Albuquerque -about five hours away. I haven't checked to see if they are still in business -I guess I better check.
Psssstt ...... @Streetgirl675. Just have a quick look at Tim's details beneath his avatar. Steady ..... no-one will notice if you do it surreptitiously. There you go, I bet that answers your question. Look out, someone's coming!! Phew .... I think you got away with it! And yes, I too am capable of similar cock-ups!! I posted in the 'What did you do with your non Triumph today' thread a piece about what I had done with my Triumph today! And bugger me, some smartarse noticed! I blame my age - 'cos I can! But all the above is just between us two - I'm saying nowt!
Not that I was reading a personal message just between stevethegoolie and streetgirl675, but I just noticed that Tim is from Colorado Springs, Colorado...that's where I first learned to ride and took my MSF course (in Nov in cold rain/sleet/snow weather)...and that dealership that just closed is the one at which I test rode my first Triumph in 1999 that set me off on wanting one. Handsome husband recalled that he absconded with the Triumph backpack given as a test ride incentive at the time. Well, he's not getting the one I just got with my new bike! Sorry to know my "home" dealership closed Glad it occurred to me to check Tim's location
My bad. All I can see under his Avatar is ‘active member’. I generally don’t go stalking people and checking there profile page before answering
Yikees! Just saw that every emoji was stripped out of my last post so it has an unintended tone in parts...darn post gremlins. Anyway, still sad that dealership closed and glad for stevethegoolie's nudge to look otherwise it would not have "occurred" to me to look either...especially since I assume most members are in the UK...probably bad to assume but that's another conversation.

Christmas has come early for the little Scrambler! I was going to do another "what's in the box" post but what the feck, some new boots and engine dresser bars. Time to break out the spanners and the tyre levers.
That's lovely - I like pretty much all of the Triumph jackets and they're superb quality. I picked this one up (a Higham) in the sale myself and then managed to snag the matching gloves.
Got a lovely run round the coast, 120ish miles in drizzle, fog and cold and I loved every minute of it View attachment DSCF2776.jpg
