Just closed my Twitter account, just found it to be alot b#ll#xs. Perhaps I followed the wrong people etc. So many people that think their opinion that matters and they are right . Wow behold anyone that disagrees with them and if you do they just keep messaging and messaging. Still tis gone and will stick to motorcycle forums, much more interesting :)

Totally agree - I was never a big fan or user but followed a couple of people I thought might be interesting (they weren't) and couldn't believe the amount of uninformed b*llocks that was on there. Even worse was the "that's my opinion, there is no other, I'm right and don't you dare criticize me brigade".
I never commented on anything as I felt it would be more appropriate to punch half the people on there in the face - probably the only way to get your point across with some of these morons! :joy::joy:

Never been a user of Twitter or any of the other platforms. I use the triumph forum for my fun and interaction with other people who ride bikes

Surely you'll miss the deranged rantings of the apricot-haired, childish spoilt brat soon to be a former president. He posts some gems, Chiiiinaa

Don’t get ahead of yourself. The ball is still very much in play. The main stream media and Twitterati drink the same Kool Aid.

Sadly a high percentage of users on twitter have some sort of severe mental health issue that's stops them comprehending others may (and probably do) have a different opinion to them. You will usually found them on the far left of the argument in what could be classed as the 'woke' category. Failure to agree with their opinion no matter how valid your argument will result in you being branded (without fair discussion) a Nazi, racist or fascist of some description.

Many of these should not allowed unsupervised use of a device that can connect to the internet and interact with human beings.

Cheers for warning. The only two forums I`m on now are this one and Old Skool Suzuki, which I`ve been on OSS for years. Both excellent forums. Facebook also closed many years ago for same reason as Twitter. They can go and they with their own balls :joy:

That`s exactly what happened. One female, was it a female, said in a little discussion we had, that because I missed an apostrophe from one of my words, I must be a foreigner trying to pass myself off as English. bearing in mind she (?) actually spelt apostrophe wrong:joy:

I could never see myself propping up a bar with President Trump. It would just feel wrong quaffing pints while he sups Diet Coke.

However, anyone who fails to appreciate his real skill in shaping the narrative and command of Twitter as a direct vehicle for his message that bypasses all attempted filtration.....? As George W said, you seriously misunderestimate him.

Needless to say, his critics always get carried away by what he says and comprehensively overlook what he actually does. Funnily enough it is all too often what he said he would do.....

Not my mate but my kind of politician even if you don’t always agree with the policy.....the rest? Theatrics and he knows it.

Never had a Twatter account and never will simply not interested. As for Trump, well yes I think he is a lot smarter than anyone gives him credit for and he uses Twatter precisely to rile up his opponents and get them to throw hissy fits over his 'apparent' stupidity and egotism. A wise man makes his enemy believe him to be a fool. However he has lost as he was meant to it's all in the plan.

I do have to admit to possessing a Facebook account but I only have a handful of 'Friends' and use it solely to keep up with them and also to blag occasional cheap/free stuff locally.

Twitter is for two sorts of people. The first sort are the soy latte, offended on behalf of others, progressive left, SJW’s who are easily triggered. The others are the people who wind these tossers up. But as Twitter is moderated by the former a wind-up can only go so far.

Careful as you can now get arrested in Scotland for upsetting someone's feelings under the new hate speech laws. Look up the nonsense over Count Dakula:

I must be a bit of a dinosaur as I've never been remotely inetrested in social media. Forums on the other hand, like this and most hobby/interest based content, are not only a mine of useful info but can be a good laugh to boot.

And no one gets offended (generally) at the slightest thing and you can actually have a reasoned discussion over matters people may disagree on.

Shane, yes his street cred only enhanced by being thrown out of public school for drugs possession. He was at Westminster School along with Chris Huhne, Dominic Grieve and briefly with Fatty Boulton off Sky.

We all know a faggot is a meatball or a bundle of sticks ..... until you take it transAtlantic. Similarly shag doesn’t travel too well in the opposite direction.
