I thought the appearance of the white coloured reverse of the reflective number plate backing (the bit facing forward) looked slightly out of place on my bike. So I got some of this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-3D...-/133450079788?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292. A bargain for six quid. I was also lucky that the nylon number plate bolts went through the centres of characters that make up my registration so black ones could be used.
Did similar on my Speed Triple and SWMBO's Street Triple, not quite as flash as you though just went for matt black vinyl.
