One I've never acquired, He seems to be a Marmite character, you love him or hate him. I hate Marmite, I can't stand his whiney voice, but I acknowledge he has a genuine liking for motorcycles.

I like his greatest ride show too, and give the man his due, he’ll ride a chopper with no mudguards through torrential downpours to get to his destination! He just loves riding bikes... I’d rather watch him than some of the plastic doll presenters devoid of any character that seem to frequent modern telly programming

I like Henry probably because i have know lots of box of frogs types, he may come over as a bit of a div but he knows how to make money as he owns a couple of video/TV production companies.

Agreed that Henry is as mad as a box of frogs but I see that Allen Millyard is featured in the show as well and that should make it well worth a look.

He has to work hard on that voice to stop his real posh accent coming out.

I watch all of his stuff. Yes, he can be a little irritating at times, but he's pretty down to earth when it comes to bikes so he gets my vote. He almost single handedly puts motorcycles on the telly, when hardly anyone else bothers.

I must admit that I initially thought he was a 'posh boy' knobhead but I have warmed to him. Reminds of a number of upper class clients I had when I was a Graphic Designer. They were some of the most honest, scruffy and down to Earth people I have ever met. He strikes me now as having a genuine love and enthusiasm for things that he considers good and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Watching some of his 'World's Greatest Motorcycle Rides' shows he doesn't hold back if he doesn't like something and his opinion of Las Vegas and Pahrump, not to mention several hotels/Motels and eateries along his way are refreshingly honest and don't try to cosy up to the businesses involved.

In terms of putting bike shows on the TV he's all we've got and I doubt that is likely to change any time soon.
The bike tours of Gran Canaria looked pretty good value to me, considering the usual price of bike hire.
OK, you need to arrange your own flight there and back but £760 for a shared twin room or £795.00 single room with food, bike hire, 5 days of guided bike tours all included can't be bad.

Yep The bike trip looks like good value in my mind. I enjoyed the Morgan car feature even though it was not about a bike

Yeah I liked the Morgan, it sounded awesome with the sports exhaust but £40000.00! I don't think so :D

Agreed, silly money. Just think how many bikes that would buy

You might like his books. He openly admits he was born with a silver spoon and platter, but he doesn't take himself too seriously and I believe he is genuine. He is just making a good living doing what he likes, playing with his toys and mates, and fair play to him.

And as many have already said, Henry is almost the sole provider of motorcycle TV content that isn't racing.

I have been meaning to pick up copies of his books, especially his one about Sheds as, at the moment I am in the process of having a shed built for myself now the bikes have been housed and, being a carer for my wife there are times when the shed (with my weights, lathe, welding gear, easels, model making bench air brushes etc. is going to be a great facility to try and maintain what's left of my sanity, especially over the dark days of winter. I do have him on my Facebook 'friends'.

I'm hugely envious of your lathe. I hated selling mine when i shut the business. It was a willson that eas rumoured to have come out of a destroyer, the guy i bought it from (who used to run Mel Lemoto, oldies may remember) got it from chatham dockyard when they were decomissioning

Ah well @ChasChas you needn't be envious of my lathe, at least not the one I refer to as it's my wood lathe that is going in this shed. I do have a Myford but it's in storage with a relative as I simply haven't used it in years and haven't had the space or need for it. One of my 'projects' will be to try and turn up some bagpipe parts from native Scots cherry (gean) wood as my pipe maker made one drone out of it and then refused to turn up the rest of a set as he didn't like working with it.
