If you are nice to people it creates good karma. I am a firm believer in this, thats why i am so nice to everybody, you reap what you sow & all that! I have mellowed out so much in my later years & the only person that can still bring down the red mist is my ex-wife.... Now she really does make my piss boil! BUT luckily for her i believe it is wrong to hit women, otherwise she would of died a long time ago
Go for it Jim, hang up the leather onesie, enjoy life in the slow(er) lane & embrace the chrome. :upyeah:
I'm torn..I've had a few pocket rockets with paint jobs and they have normally had a few looks... I must admit chrome does make people look... Is it a Harley or not???? I bought the Dark coz it's different, not sure if it would get as many looks as a cruiser but that's because people are struggling to work out if it's American or British.... I do like cruisers, not for me yet, but I do think when I'm older I will possibly have one.. At the moment I'm going to continue trying to retain my youth...
You know it makes sense screwball, so thats you & Jimbo converted..... Bry? Do you have a soft spot for a cruiser?
I ain't coming to the dark side yet... You put back your KY and hand cuffs there ain't no welcome party happening for a few years yet......
i will admit i've never concidered a crusier before this one,had classic japs before and britishwhen i sold my duke we looked round at various Triumphs as my dad was a Triumph man all his life ,the wife wanted a bit of comfort as the old matchy i have is rigid and her arse feel it so when the speedmaster came up we went for it and to be honest i absolutly love it ,yes it needs a lot of cleaning yes it not got the speed of a pocket rocket but riding it through the country lane on a sunny day(when we have um) is fantastic.....that my old man bit over LOL GO YOUR OWN WAY
Well I certainly don't have a hard one! I don't like the way cruisers handle, for me they tip in too quirkily and a little disconcertingly when cornering. To be fair I don't like the way sportsbikes feel either. That's why I like really neutral bikes like the SIII - I just feel more naturally in control! Please note, Jim - this was a serious reply (well apart from the very first bit). x
I'll give you that the cornering does take getting used to ,if you lean to much it grounds out but once you get to know the limits its great fun to ride,in fact sometime it almost feels like driving a sidecar, not i'll get flack from pig for saying that LOL
It makes me chuckle every time you go for a bike insurance quote, they ask with a serious voice "Does the motorcycle have a side car fitted?" LMAO are they really that common???
Sad to say i used to run a sidecar club had about 20-30 members,so used to pee off drivers when we went for a run ,loved it ,but a dying breed i think now
This is a special pic I keep for my 'alone time' but I thought you lot might like a copy too... light a few candles and bring out the tissues
LOL i think you have a need one of my mate had 4 kids another was disabled and some reading the thread need pictures for other reasons but all said and done not for me either done my sidecaring bit
