Well!! As the title says I received my bike a day early because of the nice weather! And the nice people of Triumph Cheltenham. A quick passing visit to the show room this morning to make sure all was ok for pick up tomorrow quickly turned into being asked why don't I take it now? With me answering my insurance doesn't start until midnight tonight and the weather forecast to be horrible tomorrow I didn't really fancy picking it up in the pouring rain and muddy roads so the nice chaps at Triumph stuck a trade plate on and said take it now! What nice people! Sooooo I'm a very happy street twin owner which is now safely tucked in the garage I took a few photos quickly so there not the best but hey... Have a look anyway! I will post some good ones soon!
I can't get my head around how cheap it is to fill with petrol Sam. I've filled mine 3 times this week and can't get over a tenner in it. £9.55 was the most when the computer reckoned I had 38 miles left. I'm just not used to this little 12 ltr tank. I'm getting around 160-170 miles to the tank, that'll go down when I stop riding it like Miss Daisy after it's serviced but at the moment it's showing 74 mpg on the display. Fantastic bike
Ooooooo I'm looking forward to that, if I can get that economy with how the torque pulls I'll be very happy
Hi Sam, it's a beautiful sunny day here again so you can possibly imagine how I feel when I look at this thread and your beautiful new Speed Twin? GGGGGgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
