Another 'does anyone know what this is' post

    daytona 650

Cleaning UK terminals under the seat and I've found this random tube not attached to anything either end.

Does anyone know what it is supposed to be attached to?

I've just scowled at my phone, but I've tried it and I will apologise as I can blow through the smooth end but not the ribbed end.

The smooth end is also clogged.

Problem is it was attached to anything and I can't see anywhere that it was attatched to

I really appreciate any help bud, I know next to nothing about bikes so I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.

I think this is the pipe your talking about, it goes up towards the back of the petrol tank (the side the battery is)

It goes from the ECU to the airbox
A hose on the ECU I hear you say?

The Atmospheric sensor is built into the ECU - the hose references the pressure in the airbox

In the real World, makes very little (if any) difference to performance with it disconnected as the airbox should essentially be at atmospheric pressure
But it certainly also serves to keep the sensor spigot clean also

:joy: yes I did think that.

Would not having that connected effect the running of thd bike?
