As the restaurants are in lockdown we have to fend for ourselves... so I cooked venison with chanterelles, haricot verts and potato and celeriac mash accompanied by a south african chardonnay...

We saw this at the package store yesterday and bought it just for the packaging. We took a sip and the rum is actually really good. It's Mexican rum and isn't as sweet as Jamaican rum.

Had the meal of a lifetime tonight- Fillet and Ribeye steak with Dauphinoise potatoes- my daughter sure can cook;
Washed down with some Beer and Red wine, not sure whats next, but for sure I aint had enough yet
Fed up to the teeth with the negative misery that is peddled everywhere at moment.
Autumn is bad enough without politicians and all the other doomsayers!!
