It might be said that a forum running to 129 pages has had as much comment on a subject as it is possible to bear. However, I offer this up. My doctor can't pronounce the letter V - it comes out as a w. Thus, he pronounces 'virus' as 'wirus'. Each time he talks about 'the wirus', it makes me smile, and I can't be afraid of it. Beerman
I think your missing the point of herd immunity, you want the younger generation infected, but protect the vulnerable, and the virus effectively burns itself out, and hence the vulnerable are at risk for a shorter period of time, hense less deaths.
Another side of what might seem like a wholly different coin ..... https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/sink-or-swim-chinas-zero-covid-strategy
There’s no denying President Trump’s policy have been good for this nation -economically, militarily, and socially this great nation is better and stronger than it was the previous 8 years. If you love this country, and the freedom it stands for, you have to admit the last 4 years have been great. Even among the Covid pandemic, the economy is better than at any time during the Obamination administration.
Yep had a look, but did not read anything that says directly that if you have had it you cannot catch it again?
https://gbdeclaration.org/ Looking at the science, it seems the lockdowns and continued lock downs are the wrong response. In fact, it may make things worst, as can be seen in the various resurgences. See "Great Barrington Declaration"
You are entirely right but too many remain prisoners of their own minds and government propaganda fed by big pharma and the sound of umbrellas being put up as they double down everywhere.
So if I have understood correctly there is no direct evidence that says once you have had it you cannot get it again, only that you might not. If this is the case the claims on heard immunity see a little bit risky.... So that leaves us with the government strategy on ristricting movement and people mixing with each other does it not?
If you cannot develop immunity to it that would mean we are all fecked, because without your body developing immunity then a vacine will not work. Practically every government around the world say they can create a vacine, now if you accept that is true, then you also have to accept herd immunity. It also is starting to appear that many may already have immunity to the virus, without ever being exposed to it: https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m3563
An interesting dilemma then. I’m still not seeing any direct evidence that you cannot catch it again? If this evidence does exist where is it?
