I hope we are okay to post videos on here, I don't want to come across as a spammer If not, please remove and accept my apologies. If anyone enjoys it, or doesn't, feel free to hit me with some feedback, never profess to be an amazing rider, just out having a good time and testing audio recorder too.
Nice video and good riding, I can't get to grips with the sound on mine somehow, I have a Go Pro Hero 7 Black, the RS connectivity works great with the Go Pro. Nice ride route as well. Ride safe all.
Oh How Original. Nothing wrong with that video it was great. Love the sound of that triple. It really does make me feel good that it's a triumph. Thanks for sharing. No doubt I will have another listen later. Joe.
How tech has moved on in recent years! I did a similar video following a fellow R1 rider over the mountain on the TT course at the '98 MGP. The camera was a JVC, Super VHS-C format, the size of a small shoe box, taped to the tank with gaffa tape on a block of upholstery foam. It came out pretty good, considering but the vibration affected the tape tracking so it's certainly not GoPro 1080P!
Hi Pegscraper you are right, the speed at which technology moves on is staggering, the Triumph connectivity uses Google's tech for the Sat nav, the Go Pro is also intergrated using the same control as the one for rider modes, no more faffing turning the unit on and off (dangerous in my view if riding, no difference to using a mobile phone whils driving). Anyway back to the tech. It's great being able to record your ride outs, however if on a spirited ride personally I wouldn't be posting any vids on social media, the Go Pro does record speed, I'm sure the more tech savvy in the forum could disable it, it's beyond me though, iv tried and can't seem to somehow, I have been looking at a device to enable voice overs whilst riding, however everything I see seems cumbersome and attaches to the side of the helmet, maybe someone can suggest something that works without the helmet attachments. Great vid though Oh How Original keep em coming for me. Ride safe all.
I agree on the filming and posting of "spirited rides" these days. The vid I shot on the TT course was when there was no speed limit in the derestricted section over the mountain from Tower bends to Greg Ny Baa so the only concern was hoping the camera didn't fall off! It's been almost 20yrs since I was last over there and I think it's changed since then.
