Guy Martin v David Coultard

Not sure if this has been posted already but as a prelude to channel 4's coverage of this season's Formula 1, they have a program on 17 March which features Guy Martin up against David Coultard.

Guy will be on his Tyco BMW S1000RR with Coultard in a proper ( that is v8) F1 Red Bull.

Should be interesting!

Guy Martin is a true crazy horse I have watched him on tv and he is a cool nutty bloke and he will do his utmost to wallop Coulthard I hope

I reckon Guy would have a go in the car, no problem, if they let him - Coultard on the bike though?

Once I realised the program was sponsored by Red Bull, the result wasn't a surprise. That said, it wasn't the runaway victory I predicted. Kudos to Guy, He gave the ponces a good scare

 

I thought it was a bit of fun,never to much doubt who was going to win,£250,000 bike against a £5,000,000 car.
11 man pit crew and they even had to fly a guy over from France just to start it. Guy turned up with a mechanic and a van.
Would like to see a re run with a top level Moto GP rider and bike.
Guy Martin on a bike on prime time TV can't be bad.

 

Easter Monday Guy's back with his Wall of Death challenge. Channel 4 at 7.15 pm.

Thanks for the link RR but I didn't get the video. It may be that because I'm in France Channel catch-up, a bit like the BBC I-player, senses I'm not in the UK and blocks the content.

Was interesting and live record breaker but I think Guy had done this at a faster speed off TV as he wanted a third attempt, I would like to know how much this cost to put this together to do.

 

........and didn't that triple sound like the dogs dangly bits!

 

Would have preferred the program in a documentary style rather than as a "live" show, that way, Guy could have done as many attempts as he liked without worrying about advert breaks, timing schedules or the need for the presenter to fill his time on camera.

 

I just not sure he was happy when they told him what speed he had done it in,So your not a top gear lover then, when will the new top gear to start !!! does anyone know !!!
