The University of York - Heslington Hall (The Admin building of the University) in the snow taken while an Undergrad there 1991......

 

1991 was also the year that the lake froze solid and then it snowed - and a group of prospective students wandered across what they thought was solid ground to stand perplexed at a bridge in their way.... not this one - this is "The Japanese Bridge " near Hes Hall

 

The photo was taken in June ....” it’s cold oop North”

And he did this every lap...

 

Just finished another knife well two actually but gave one to my daughter ...no pic of that.

On a similar theme, here’s a couple of pics I took of Sir Nigel Gresley a few years ago pulling out of Grosmont and approaching Levisham on the North York Moors Railway.
Edit, I’m not a trainspotter, the reason I took the pics was my in laws were on the train, we paid for them to have lunch as a joint birthday present.
