This morning started off well - nice weather, dry roads. That was to change later though...

But finally the mediterranean was reached - mission accomplished, RDGA finished!

 

So now that the sun was out I took off my waterproofs- big mistake... 15 minutes later in Monaco:


I got soaked in minutes, then spent 1,5 hours in the pouring rain to get out of the sodding place. Anyway. All dried up now, found a hotel and a beer.

250 miles today. 200 of which pleasant/great!

Told you it would rain. Wouldn't catch me going over there in that weather.

On the whole the weather's been favourable mate. An hours rain each day up until today, so not bad at all (prima dus ). It was just unlucky I'd just taken off my waterproofs this afternoon - but hey, such is life! I'm having a great time regardless, and hope folk will enjoy my travels vicariously...

 

My pleasure, Dartplayer - as I'm on my own on this trip it gives me some sense of purpose, too.
