Can anyone reassure me that the gearbox issues with the water cooled models has been sorted? Picking up a new T120 in the next few days.

Agree. I have a 2018 Street Twin and no issues whatsoever after 3 years and 9,000 miles.

So I posted this and you rated it with a face palm, without a comment @Richard Goss ? Did you disagree with my comment?

Sorry don't understand I did not actually reply to your comment but one that followed who said they had had no issues with their water-cooled Bonnie. I also was not responsible for the face palm sorry.

Apologies as I hadn’t realised I had face palmed your comment . Scrolling on phone has a tendency to add emojis without realising.

Martin, send a message to Triumph after sales, their email is on the Triumph website, ask them if your bike is within the range likely to suffer a gearbox failure, include your frame number and engine number, I guarantee they will put you mind at rest, lovely bike the T120, I rode one before getting my Thruxton 1200, I found it hard to choose between the 2, post some pics when you get it.

my preowned 18 T120 6 spd shifts OK BUT not as good as my traded 5 spd 2012 with lo miles + my new leftover 19 street scrambler with 127 on it shifts great as well, another 5 spd. prolly the 5 spds are leftover design.
