Put new tyres on the old Trophy today, Conti road attack 3 and managed not to take too much white paint off of the rims while fitting them. While the front wheel was out fitted concertina gaiters to the forks. Try out Saturday with trip to the Fosse Riders new clubroom and Pistons and Props on Sunday.
Mine is the BRG 900 with the stickers.

And speaking of tyres... saw this mess in the car park at work. So? Would you ride it? Perhaps too many smokey burnouts and not enough sense or cash to deal with it. Just happening...

Not looked after at all. Rusty chain and rusty bolts in the pipe.
All bikes deserve better than that!
I think he parks it in the sea....

After the debacle of the leaking oil filter (Sprint St1050), got bike out for MOT only to discover the air horns I fitted weren't working. I had fitted these under the right hand side fairing so fairing off to find that a wire had come off the relay. Whilst all the fairing was off decided to get a decent set of air horns. I got a set of Denali Split Bomb from Sportsbikeshop next day delivery. Fitted those, great sound. Checked all the lights before setting off discovered that the HID full beam caused the right hand head light to go off. As bike is my only transport replaced the headlight bulbs with normal Halogen that I had in the garage. ( New HIDs ordered) By this time its 8pm. Main beam absolute nightmare, manual says top fairing off. Daughter with her slim hands came to the rescue and put her hand up underneath the fairing and fitted it in about two minutes. Everything in order. now ready for the MOT. Next morning checked everything and all fine. MOT testing station, horn didn't work, told to sort when I got home. Blown in line fuse, had fitted new relay but used original power supply and this only had a 15amp fuse and the new horn needs 30amp. All changed, everything ok off from a long test ride. Think the bike was trying to tell me something, don't park me up for so long and use your old Bandit, lesson learnt.

I really did like them, @crispey. The one thing that my first Wilder custom seat revealed on my 2012 Thruxton, however, was the weld quality of the frame that was hidden by the stock seat. It was not up to snuff at all! It's like they knew that part of the frame and those welds wouldn't be seen and so just welded that part with no thought to how it would look. I did get used to it and the silver lining (for me) is that the Wilder seat was sleeker and lower profile, not dominating the look and lines of the bike and also effectively lowering the seat height about an inch or so which was a good thing for me on that bike.:)

Looks to be quite the busy place, @Privateer! Annie is looking good.

"Eat out to help out". I really like that and am going to start using that phrase as it's what Mr. Sandi and I are doing a lot of these days. We're really hoping that our favorite Tucson restaurants make it through this pandemic.

Took the old girl out to keep the fuel moving through the carbs. The Daytona doesn't like sitting unused for too long. The whole of Dublin County is in a 3-week lockdown from midnight last night, I live just outside in Kildare so I am free to escape to the Wicklow Mountains, a few less bikes up there than normal without the Dubs!.

Great photos, XCaTel. Glad you're still free to get out on your Daytona (a beauty, BTW!). I just looked up Dublin Co, Kildare, and the Wicklow Mountains on Google Maps. It's nice to see the map plus your photos of the area for some perspective. It looks beautiful! Enjoy those quiet roads. :)

Bled the front brakes on my TWAT:cool:
Couldn’t get any more air out of the callipers but the lever feels a bit softish to me
Have pumped it and strapped it back :)
Will leave it overnight and see how it feels in the morning :)

I’ve found putting fluid in at the bleed nipple using a short piece of pipe and a syringe is the best remedy for trapped air in Calipers, when I fit new brake lines I start bleeding from the nipple with a syringe.

hey hey everybooby....Trying to apply a film coating protector to my expensive painted fly screen....it was shit ......it might be good enough to wrap my sarnies :p
Can anybooby recommend a decent wrap that will go on flatter than quasimodo's face?. It has to be simple as I seem to have the manual dexterity of a pissed up elephant.
