Hi Again D D, spoke to both your leads neither could help themselves, but they both gave me other platers names, and Hey Presto am sorted a platers (family business) in Weston Super Mare who have been there forever and even knew what a Rickman frame was booked in for 6 weeks time So thanks to D D and the forum the issue is sorted Cheers all Clive

Thanks Adie, I see you are in Devon, so the platers are down your end of the country at Weston Super Mare, they are called Doug Taylor Metal Finishers, Banwell, North Somerset I had been in touch with Gerry Lisi at Rickman motorcycles, But his platers would only tackle new first time nickel plating as opposed to what I need which is stripping polishing and re nickel plating Thanks

Hi Clive. Banwell -- interesting and useful to know. I think I may have already picked up one of their cards at one of the Shepton Mallett shows so I'll be interested to know how you get on in terms of cost/quality/turnround, etc. They're certainly close enough to me to drive and drop off/collect work.
