Speedmaster De-tune.

Is it possible to de-tune my Speedmaster 1200 to about 70% of set up power. I am 74 years old and I love the comfort and ride but feel there is too much power for me. It' a 2019 year. PeterPW

Easiest way is probably restrict the throttle movement inside the twist grip with spacers.
Totally reversible and I think you can buy spacers online.

Hi Peter, Rain mode is the best way to lower the raw power.

 

I was going to suggest that, though I'm sure I read that doesn't decrease total power, just applies it more gradually.

 

Your postcode is best erased. You never know who is watching.....

Some simple throttle stop should work.
