So not sure what section this goes in but Iam still a newbie lol. so looking at a 2016 striple abs anything I should be asking or looking out for? mine iam Looking at is a 2016 model, abs, completely standard, has a screen and belly pan. 7.5k miles, fsh and will come serviced and with 12months mot. there any niggling issues with them or recalls to ask about? Heard a few things about the charging systems? thanks for any help / guidance
If you have the registration number you can check the government site for MOT history, which will also show mileage, and if there are any outstanding vehicle recalls. Sqidgy front brake, maybe soft on the first squeeze and firmer on the second. - I think there was a fix for it, but could be imagining it Check toolkit is there Check micro switches (clutch, front brake and rear brake) are sealed, as they have a rather feeble rubber cover Clutch cable needs to be well oiled, some maybe a bit dry As it is is ride by wire, check the throttle handle doesn't have too much play - there is a kit on eBay to fix it Check the tank mount rubbers are still all there, they can tend to fall out when the tank is lifted and battery removed Due to the very low mileage, check it has a new battery as it may have been neglected for a long period of time and damaged the cells - take a multimetre with you to check the voltage/charge going through the battery 1) engine off, [13v +] 2) ignition on [12.6v+] 3) engine running [13.6v+]

Where are you buying it from @Drew82 ? I have just sold mine and its about that mileage etc. Is it through a dealer or private sale? If its my old one - I can give you the lowdown
