Humpback whales are my favourite. Have had some entertain us while deep sea fishing. They seem to enjoy human company this one breached and back slammed for a good 20 minutes as we headed to deep water
I just watched this video. And I agree that he talks sense. At least in this video because it's the only video of his I've seen (so far anyway). Basically this tragic killing shouldn't even be about race. That's just one way to frame it. A child was murdered in the street. That can be framed primarily as black person kills white person, violence towards children, random murder in the streets, mental illness, guns..... In reality it's about ALL of those things. People in general--including the news media--frame things from their (our) own perspective and also from the angle that they (we) want to present it. Life is far more complicated than that. I do think this guy is awesome, @Dozers Dad, for sharing a video that may help us think about events differently than we might otherwise when they are presented in one dimensionally.
We didn't get a bit of rain out of the deal but saw this rainbow from our back porch yesterday evening.
I'll give him a chance, DD. Especially if he can keep partisan politics out of it. Most everything can be interpreted as political or at least having a political impact. But here in the U.S. we're inundated with the Us vs. Them stuff at every turn and it's wearing. Doesn't really sound like it's all that different in the UK though.
Here’s Mrs Freck and me with one at RAF Fairford. We were fortunate enough to get a close up look around it as a friend of ours was looking after the display of a variety of heritage aircraft. Just look at what the pilot had to work with.
I’ve been to Cosford a few times on courses and for work meetings but not had the chance to visit the museum yet. It’s quite a way from home though unfortunately
Going back to the aircraft theme i took these pics as the Vulcan flew over my house a few years back recognized the sound from my childhood and shot outside with the camera.
