I kinda like the versatility of the Russian MIL mi-24 hind... it’s big enough to pop your week’s shopping in, or even go for a weekend camping.
I sent the Warthog meme/picture to a close friend in America who's a former USN pilot (A4 Skyhawks, active duty in Vietnam) and his response was :- In keeping with reality....."Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history". I guess that can be read any number of ways but perhaps best in the context of the rivalry between the various aviation forces in the US military!
Perhaps you should consider one of these, Duck?! And the description indicates that it is reusable...definitely a plus in your case.
This is a true story, I used to work with a lad who's surname was Gunn and his first name was Ray, he also had a brother called Tommy and a sister called Brenda, or Bren, I asked him what his fathers name was and he said Dennis but we just call him pop, I actually met his family and it was all true
It’s a tricky one this, because the most difficult, pain in the arse, report you for breathing, “I want to talk to the manager”, self-important, “entitled” bitch that I ever had the displeasure to manage was called Karen and she has colored my perception of Karen’s since then... I still give them a fair trial, but that nugget of prejudice is there nagging away at the back of my head! For all I know, the meme could have been started by someone who had met this witch.
I met a girl called Karen in Monrovia once, she was a Liberian prostitute, don’t think she fitted the White Privileged Female trope!!
It doesn’t matter, they are only privileged white women... a lesser species... it doesn’t matter at all if they are offended
I just did a quick internet search on “Karens”... the social media is awash with Karen hatred, like properly filled with hatred, it is outright racist, misogynistic and abusive. apparently the male version is a Ken...
This Brendan bloke is quite interesting actually, coming from a leftist point of view (Marxist) he sees and talks a lot about the same “woke” issues as has been discussed several times on this forum
At least it's a view looking for some decent perspective, not jumping straight on to one bandwagon or another. The whole 'Marginalise. Attack. Repeat.' approach won't change anything.
I hate the hot weather ...been hiding indoors with the curtains pulled and the fans going full blast feel pretty wiped out and the heat just makes it worse.
