Just bought this Arai Rapide. I was after one of the hideously named Shoei Glamsters but I've never has a Shoei before and despite trying valiantly the man at Motolegends couldn't get the Shoei to fit my head. Apparently, I have a sloping neanderthal forehead that just doesn't fit a Shoei. Anyway bought this instead and it is very nice, only complaint is it is just as noisy as my last Arai, even with earplugs. Really noticed how much more stable it was at speed than my old Arai which is probably mostly down to the old helmet just being worn a lot. Got a really good price of £364 with Motolegends price beater guarantee, and you really can't fault them for the effort they put into making sure stuff fits.

I always had admiration for graham, but beyond that I think it is one of the helmet designs that have marked the time for their personality and simplicity, regards friend

After many low end lids, I finally invested in my safety.
Great fit and first time pin screen user, so can’t wait to use it  as the humidity is extremely high as spring feels like summer temps:sun::scream:

Clear visor with dropdown shades. Whole box and contents half the weight of my old helmet

This is my favourite in terms of style, comfort and fit. It's a DGR 2019 Hedon Hedonist, given to me as a prize for making it into the top 100 fundraisers (out of about 130,000 globally, from memory); I was lucky in that I had some very generous donors.

It has an extra-special meaning because of that but I love it as a helmet anyway.

Very well done to learningtofly, but, when I donate to any causes (And I do to many) I like to think all the donation will go where intended. 30K + in exes. (For prizes) doesn’t fit well with me.
Some (Most?) Charities these days are just businesses paying their top people extra ordinary salaries.
All should be made to publish their takings and how much actually goes to the recipients annually.
    Rant over.

Yes, I get what you're saying but I think it added some motivation to raise as much as possible, particularly in the final days when funding would have tailed off dramatically without some real effort. I also don't think you can accuse the DGR of being "just a business', even if that might apply to some of the more corporate fundraising/charitable entities.

    Hi,
Wasn’t aiming at DGR in particular.
It would be nice if people were told before donating that X # % of money collected will go to appropriate cause.

I’ve seen instances where someone in a Council house has some misfortune, people donate and next minute a Charity has been started and suddenly their lifestyle is elevated.
Wasn’t having a go at you either learningtofly, you must have put a lot of work in to achieve what you did, congratulations.
    Ken.

New Shoei GT Air ll with Sena SRL 2 intercom. Lovely lid for the longer rides. Comfortable and much quieter than the RX7. 0A4DD300-5553-434A-8CC5-FBE9B196B344.jpeg

Nice!! Have you tried out the Sena SRL 2 intercom yet, @NBB? If so, what's the verdict?
