Ok so here's a nice easy one!

If you didn't have a triumph what would you have?

I would probably have a KTM supermoto, I know its quite different to the Daytona but it was only really the Triumph that tempted me over to the sports bike style.

If you asked me that a couple of years ago I would have said Ducati, loved the look of the new Multistrada but then I bought one
Think if I wasn't on the Speed Triple I would be riding a Kawasaki ZZR 1400, nearly 200 BHP

I love the look of the Guzzi V7 'racer' & the Griso, must admit to being tempted by (dare I say it) the Harley 48 or maybe the more practical (but who buys a bike 'cos it's practical?) 1200 custom. I'm also tempted to just go completely retro & get a nice restored 400/4 or an RD.

My mate has one.. Nice bike and I took it for a spin in the Black Forrest... Bit of a different ridding position and it would need a bit of time to get used to it but dam does it hustle... He has had 165 on the clocks and can shift it round the corners...

If I hadnt bought a Sprint (or at least put a deposit on it !) I'd have bought a Speed T riple instead... but the thought of lots of motorway miles put me off that really ... Non triumph I would have an SV 650 .. wait - I've got one, which is going p/ex for the Sprint !

Don't let high mileage put you off - I have a gel seat on my SIII and regularly do 500 miles a day. People do sometimes call me 'Ironbutt' but to be honest, I'm 53 and a bit creaky round the edges (and probably smell of wee a little) and if I wasn't comfortable I simply wouldn't do it!
