I’ve had this happen so many times to me in the car and on the bike that I always take extra care when pulling out to overtake them give them as wide a berth as I can. I just take the attitude that everyone is out to kill me, doesn’t use mirrors and has no idea what the little stick thing next to the steering wheel is for so leaves it alone.
I don't even think the people in New Mexico know what a turn signal is. It sucks because in order to be safe you just have to assume everyone is turning.

Well, at least Fauci never stated that Covid would "magically go away" as Trump did. Fauci has changed his recommendations as we learn new things about covid. That's what scientific and medical experts do when new information is available. Our knowledge base and practice shouldn't remain static over time or doctors would still be be recommending archaic practices like having people ingest mercury to cure illnesses. Similarly, we don't still believe the earth is flat (well, most don't) because as new information that refuted those beliefs became available, people realized that belief was incorrect. Thank goodness Fauci and other scientists and medical professionals are responsive to updated knowledge and information and don't just go with their gut or think that saying something will make it so.
