carbs for a 955i?

hi all
im building a café racer/flat track style thingy using a 1999 955i engine fitted in a trident frame,trouble is we cant fit the fuel injection/airbox in the available space. ive been told that any 90s triple carb set up will do the job? I was wondering if anybody has done this before and could offer some advice a bit more specific..thanks

 

Have you had a look on triumphrat.net? It's mainly an American site and they do wonderful things with their bikes over there!

the triples are fab motors, cant help but think youre going the wrong way tho,lol. but good luck
