Anybody about on the A272 this afternoon? Passed quite a few bikers in a layby near Destination Triumph........looks like a regular haunt....... didn't have time to stop but will in future. Ride down from Northants to Brighton yesterday and back again today. A43, A34, A31,A272, A283. Saddle bags packed........ For those that don't know it, the A272 passes through some beautiful countryside, eg: Stopham Bridge (and the White Hart). Some pictures of fellow bikers whilst out and about. The poor guy with the yellow helmet overshot the junction but managed to recover. The bike was on Euro plates and I wondered whether he was borrowing a mates bike to test drive.
Fun photos, @Thripster! What sort of camer/video rig are you using to take on bike photos? I just listened to a good podcast today on my morning walk that was all about on bike video gear and considerations.
So can you do videos and stills with it, @Thripster?? I'm sort of jones-ing to get into photos and video from my motorcycle as a new (or sort add-on) hobby.
The camera is set to run on a three minute loop Sandi. I used the MS picture editor to obtain the stills.....comes standard with W10 .. .I believe. Camera runs for about two hours on a charged battery. I am using it with microphone and single speaker (comes with unit). However, by doing that you cannot keep the camera charged (as mic and headphone use the same socket as the charging cable). Will try a charging cable from a battery pack in chemise pocket at some point. The disadvantage of doing this is that the camera then uses its own external mic resulting in blustertastic recordings.
Just a couple of shots from this morning's ride before it got too hot. Already the t-stat is showing 92* (33.3c) with 100*+(38C) expected, which is HOT for New England! Just a sleepy little road with no traffic and a couple of pics from the borough of Hampton.
Didn't take any pics of my ride out to get the service done because it was persisting down the whole feckin way.
