It's so bad that it's good, @Old dumb arse. Plus it's the first movie in the history of American movie-making that explicitly depicted drug use. So you can watch it for the "historical value".
Yeah, Judd, one is difficult. So, if we're not gonna limit it, I have a few more myself. This band may not be familiar to most (or any!) of you but they are a fave of Mr. Sandi and me. We've seen them many times at Las Vegas Bike Fest, Cave Creek Bike Fest, and Sturgis. I always request this song when we see them live and it plays well in my head when I'm riding.
ZZ Top's "La Grange" One more song with video (Easy Rider clip again) that captures how I feel when I'm cruisin' along at 85 mph on the wide open ribbon-like backroads on my Harley. In fact, I've been on some of the roads through Monument Valley that are in this video.
Yep, Judd, I'm with you. Any rock song with a good riff, my leather jacket, and my Street Glide (which lends itself more to the rock vibe than does my Speed Triple). My iTunes "Motorcycle Playlist" includes all of the songs on your list except for Freewheel Burning--I may need to add that one. In addition to your picks, I've also got a bunch of ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Bad Company, Dire Straits, Golden Earring, Santana, Los Lobos, and Tom Petty in the mix. Wow, that's a lot more than ONE!! But the one song that best captures how I FEEL when I'm riding is still my original James Brown pick.
Anything but Meatloaf, I had a noisy neighbour many years ago that used to blast Bat out of Hell through the walls all night long, and I've hated the fat bastid ever since.
^ Tune, adjust, set the amp and pre-amp... add quarter and then punch selection E12 and turn that mother-fer up.
Love “Black Betty”, MyEvilTwin! The band in the video in my post #31 in this thread, The Garage Boys, do a great cover of it. It's one of the songs I request every time we see them play at the rallies they work--Laughlin River Run, Cave Creek Bike Week, Sturgis.
