Anyone know a good place to sell air guns? You could sell them in the free papers but not anymore, cheers.

It’s a bsa ultra se multi shot,1.77 with a hawk scope, silencer , bag ,pump, £300, it’s in excellent condition, I bought it from a friend of a friend,I’ve used it for shooting rabbits which it’s very good for but I’ve lost the will to kill things anymore,I’ve used it in the garden but it’s boring as it’s easy with practice to hit drawing pins at 25 yards.

I recntly sold my Daystate to my local gun shop, I was surprised at the price I got, and no hassle. They mainly deal in sporting shot guns and class one rifles, so I was surprised when they wanted it, worth a shot if you live in or near shooting countryside.

I think you right littleade mines light weight and short it’s ideal for carrying around the fields, years ago I had another pre charge air rifle with a divers bottle and like you say it’s a pain getting them filled, you can get decent pumps for £30-40.

I only asked another member on the ditchpump forum if the Kimber factory was still in Yonkers and I got shot down immediately.

No not yet Sandy, i spend a bit of time on an air rife forum as i run a small non profit club but the forums can be good for selling but you really need to be around for a while before they will trust a new seller,

If we where still shooting regularly i would bung an add up for you but it wont get much mileage ...you could also try https://www.gunstar.co.uk/ £300 is a good fair price for a Ultra with a scope so should sell OK good luck.

No licence needed to buy one if it's less than 12ft.lb for rifles or 6ft.lb for pistol, you just have to be over 18 years old. Other than that they are pretty much treated as a firearm in UK law, no account taken of the reduced power. Being easy to buy means it is easy for people to not realise how seriously the law takes them, most shops would advise about the key bits though, like locking to prevent a minor getting hold of it, only shooting on private property with owners permission and catching pellets.
