I was blessed with the opportunity to dive at Los Islotes near La Paz MX some years ago not too long after I first started diving. It is a spectacular place and diving with sea lions, especially the babies, is an experience I shall never forget. Magical!! I included a link to the article that contains these photos if you'd like to read more about this special place. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/29/travel/sea-lions-los-islotes.html
DD, those two photos remind me of when you're having your eyes examined for a prescription and the optometrist shows you two images and asks if #1 or #2 is better. In this case, I'll take #1!
Thanks for looking into it, Vulpes! Although it would be a mighty long ride, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for Mr. Sandi and me to ride to this spectacular place.
What I'm on about is that you might be alienating people from a different persuasion from interacting on this forum. It makes no difference to me what colour my anticoolant is. Get my drift?
@Vulpes Out of curiosity I checked on Google Maps to see how far it is from Tucson to Lake McDonald in Glacier. Tto say that it's a mighty long ride to is somewhat of an understatement. It's over 1,400 miles! That's farther than our ride to Sturgis last August and that took us three days and two nights. Taking better roads and avoiding the interstates as much as possible on the way home from Sturgis was an extra day and extra night. But, hey, yet another reason to fully retire and ride, ride, ride sooner rather than later.
