Hello to all..I thought I'd join up as I've just bought my first wee triumph today..A blue street triple 2013 from the lovely guys at premier bike in Oxford...This is replacing an aged Kawasaki zzr 1100 ..So yes a bit of a wake up call to say the least...treated very well by the dealer ..& the sales guy was Steve..he deserves a mention as both my 12 year old son & me were treated like royalty & nothing was too much grief..even pulling out 3 or 4 bikes & setting up test rides on them all..even without an appointment...so looking to pick it up next Mon afternoon..
Morning to all..& thanks..it's like having a big warm cuddle ..but over the internet lol...yes..I've added SW motech Ali rack & mono key top rack for my givi e 52..& also added SW motech blaze side panniers & rack..will be fitted & ready for collection Mon...looking to add a exhaust & rear hugger to finish off the bike..but one main area of niggle is the useless mirrors..I've seen a thread on a speed re Halfords mirrors..so I'm buying those..to get me out of jail...to get home..coming from the old zzr 1100 I thought wow..reminds me of my old sv 650..but with more grunt..love the torque..I banged it in top at 30 mph & it pulled us two along like a big maxi scooter I never changed gear & the way it dropped into double roundabouts was a laugh..hard suspension ..so iay look at a front front set & oil upgrade & a hyperpro rear spring or hagon as they are local to me..planning a few euro trips over to Belgium ie pinnemunde ,jabbkreeke ,knock & heist..& there's a brilliant Chinese wok restaurant in beernum..@,Jct 10 e on the e40 about 30 min ride from calais..& I know of a little bar in Boulogne who does kriek on draught..for those who don't know it's a cherry beer..& in le toucet jack's bar..who does hoegarden.on draught ..so I don't work..sun & Mon..so any takers..on a wee euro trip..??

Thanks to all concerned for the kind words people..but is there a specific area here for the guys or gals on Street triples ..there's a few q,s I'd like to ask from long term owners..any one fancy meeting up at premier bikes in Didcot Monday for a wee Rideout locally..pop in for a quick pint before I shoot back to god's country Essex..no idea of collection time as of yet..
Morning..thanks to all for the warm welcome..it's been a week since I've owned my new striple & loving it..just the big bug bear of the mirrors being a lasting pain in the bum..I've gone through 3 sets now & still not happy..but I've ordered a set of round blind spot mirrors to help the issue..& the seat..so I may have it re padded locally..other than that I'm good..oh yeah..got a small stubby exhaust coming a hard megaphone 200 ml shorty so looking forward to that adding to the wee bikes whistle lol..take care & stay off those lovely Lincolnshire sausages......
