Fitted some gaiters I got as a Father’s Day present and made some covers for the top forks for a few £s unlike the cost of buying some on line for well over the top money. Pleased with the look.:yum

I sold my street triple RS today, it was a lovely bike but I suffered a broken nerve in my shoulder not long after buying it which made riding this style of bike uncomfortable , I’ve still got my scrambler so not without a bike, I sold the RS in under 24 hours on eBay with a classified add.

    Hi Ron,
You could try longer rear shock absorbers ,10mm on mine , put stiffer springs or some longer spacers in your front forks , and then dropping your front end 18~25 mm.
This speeds up turn in response and tightens turn in .

    cheers capt

:confused:That’s the reason I got rid of my 09 Speedmaster :( the handling was shite:poop:
It can be greatly improved with Avon tyres and better rear shocks but it’s not a good handler especially at lower speed manoeuvre’s

Finally got round to replacing the brake and clutch fluid on my Trophy. Why oh why triumph must I remove the rack, rear bodywork and one side of the air box assembly just to get access to the rear brake reservoir.... at least it's not an annual job...

I just use a syringe , to drain and fill the reservoir . Only hard part left to do is removing the cap ! That takes a bit of effort !! But I don't remove anything else , just take out the front mounting screws for the side panel to give me room to get at the cap !

Yeah, I'm crap at playing the guitar and I blame those digits for that as well...
Nowt compared to your trials though. I've been following them and I do hope the alternator and new ignition switch fix all the bikes faults. Good luck.

Had a ride out today with the Fossil Riders to the Park Pavilion in Melton Mowbray, 9 bikes and a couple of slightly infirm members in sports cars. Café has a take away menu, and we dodged most of the showers so a good day. If the weather improves we may go further next week. ( Fossil Riders should be self explanatory, most of us are well retired and the motto is Adventure before Dementia.)

My Street Triple had been running poorly recently, then I realised it was possibly due to the fact I changed back to standard silencers from TORS, and had not remapped. So tonight I attempted my first remap using TuneECU, all seemed to go well until I tried to start the bike, pressed the starter and nothing :scream: ...after a few minutes of abject panic, I realised I was trying to start without using the clutch lever  - What a twat!:joy:

I'll hopefully discover tomorrow if the remap has sorted the problem.

She got me from Holyhead to Kent and I have took her around the coast in kent for spins , she sounds like a traction engine but she keeps going . I'm bringing the new engine to kent to put it in here as I have a bigger garage here.

    Wow mate!
I thought you was all loved up with that Speedmaster as it was so comfortable? Even flirting with the idea of selling Scarlet , so why the change of heart mate?
