Hi ... I just signed up to the forum ... I am British and live in Mechelen, Belgium ... I have 3x Triumphs: a ´65 ex Dutch Army 3TA; a 2014 Street Triple (my day-to-day bike); and a ´94 1200cc Daytona ... I bought the Daytona cheap as a ´crash damage´ a few years back. The previous owner had come off it and cracked the right side of the cylinder head. I just recently finally got around to re-building it ... starts first time, runs great at speed, but like a bag of bones when idling ... I have read a few other chats which have given me some ideas as to what to check out ... will give them a shot first and come back if I run into trouble ... nice to meet you all ... Cheers, Mike
Here you go ... I performed a complete overhaul on this one. Was in a bit of a state when I bought it from the NL Army ... sounds and runs great now

Hi there ... you know, that is one of my main criteria when buying a bike ... how big a smile does it put on my face ... when I bought the Street Triple I also test rode a Ducati Monster, Hi there ... that´s a very good point !! You know, ´how big a smile a bike puts on my face´ is one of my main criteria when buying a bike ... when I bought the Street Triple I also test rode a Ducati Monster, a KTM Duke and Kawasaki Z750 ... the KTM came a close second, but that Triumph Triple had me ´´ WEEEEEEEEEEEEE´ING´´ all the way back to the dealer ... done deal !!
