Featured Thruxton R, 2017 - Withdrawn From Sale.

Triumph Thruxton R, 2017 (first registered Dec 2017) 3314 miles. Silver Ice, 1 owner. Immaculate and unmarked condition. Bare aluminium cases/parts are in perfect condition.

Full service history & invoices. Serviced in March, including brake fluid and throttle body balance check. All recalls addressed – last was side stand spring replacement. Instruments replaced by Triumph for revised parts due to water ingress – a common problem and potentially very expensive if paid for by the owner @ £676 + labour.

Laid up over winter and under cover in warm dry garage. Stored on stands, full tank of premium unleaded (0% ethanol) with fuel stabilizer and ACF 50 applied.

Power Commander 5 with professional rolling road custom map. Perfect fuelling and substantial torque increase. Rider modes remain operational and economy is unaffected. Area between the green arrows indicates before and after torque increase.

US spec Vance & Hines silencers with removable baffles.

De-cat.

New Triumph dual comfort seat – bought on 11/6/20. Original with hump included.

Triumph clear fly screen.

Triumph barrel grips. Originals included.

Triumph sump guard (black) fitted from new – avoids stone chipping to underside of engine.

Thanks, hoping so, I agonized over selling this or the T100. One of them has to go. I've no room for 4 and don't want to afford keeping four only to see one barely used from one month to the next. It's a waste and it doesn't do bikes good to be ornaments.

 

I had a 2016 just like this one, @Flashp. I traded it for a 2019 Speed Triple RS. Looking at your photos made me wish I'd been able to keep it and buy the Speed outright. I always figured that my Thruxton would be one of the bikes I've parted with that I rather wished I hadn't. And it is. Good luck with selling yours--but be sure it's the one you are willing to let go of!

 

An interesting point, I could sell the T100 and keep it.....

 

This seed of doubt you planted germinated over night! It reinforced my doubt and I've decided to keep the Thruxton and sell the T100.
