Having taken the plunge and ordered the new ST3 765R just before lockdown, it has finally arrived at my dealer Having some extra bits fitted and It might be ready this weekend. Fingers crossed. Taken the day off Friday for a last ride on my bug- eyed beauty that I have absolutely loved. I hope I won’t be disappointed with the new bike
Congratulations, nothing like getting a new bike A word of warning....book your first service when you pick the bike up, or at least check how quickly they would be able to get you in. Some places have got long waiting times as they’re catching up on jobs because of being locked down. I’ve just got a new KTM and completed the running in miles in 4 days. Phoned to book it in for the first service and am having to wait 3 weeks so it’s just sat in the garage and I can’t ride it.
Had the call today... she is ready. Picking her up tomorrow No rain today but I bet it will be a monsoon tomorrow
You could go with just StreetGirl, that would cover both... but then again it might give the wrong impression, especially with the reprobates on here
What a beautiful bike, @Streetgirl675! (Or whatever your name may be in the future). Congratulations! I hope you aren't still thinking of selling it. Ride the snot out of that beast and enjoy it. Life is too short and as we have learned recently in spades, we never know what tomorrow may--or may not--bring. More photos please!! And a review would be great, too.
Lovely bike and colour. You can change your name if you want. I was originally TrophyCat, now I’m BonnieCat. Mr Orange can do it for you if you ask him nicely
Found one for you @Duckadiledundee Meet Eva Hakensson, fastest female motorcyclist at 434km/h. Is she the type you meant? I am sure it was skills you were looking for wasn’t it?
Here she is! I am so happy. Feels quite different to the 675. Throttle response is far more sensitive. It has shift assist multidirectional quickshifter and slipper clutch function which Makes it easier to pull the clutch in. Noticed that straight off. Love her already. Pity it was raining . Had a few extras added like the RS seat which has stitching on it rather than the stock seat. Also a seat cowl and belly pan. Transferred my sat nav over. Just got to get a scott oiler fitted( its on backorder) and some new shorty levers ( mine were a different fitting) Now just to run her and the new tyres in. Hoping for dry weather tomorrow to go for a long one
