Though I'd share my new bits with my friends just to see mind you. Decided to get a pair of new pipes and these have just come on the market from Dunstall so had to have a pair. Boy they are pretty deep tone and raspy. Of course you can't change the pipes and leave the saddle so it got done as well. But thinking I may have chosen the wrong colour but it will grow on me when i get the extra comfort. One side of the pipes is still loose and not lined up yet as i need to get a clamp. Regards Joe
Samsgrandad Sure thing here we go. As i say the right side still has to be torqued up as I am awaiting a clamp. Regards Joe
Don the Don Yes I do get carried away now and then. Poor old Tracy pulls her hair out. Only joking of course i pull it out for her. Regards Joe.
Looking great Joe. That brown saddle looks lovely with the 59 colour scheme. How would you compare the Dunstalls to your Norman Hyde Togas. Cheers JJ
Your mods look great, Joe! I think that saddle looks perfect with the rest of the bike. Let us know how you like it when you've ridden it a bit. And I have to say that I'm of the same mind as you when it comes to making changes on my bike...... Of course you can't!
Bryf Thanks for that. But you know what they say a fool and his money is soon parted. I just did and still do love the look of the Norton peashooters. Regards Joe.
JtC Thanks for that. Did take some time till i got used to it on there. Suppose i have always been used to black saddles. Regards Joe.
They certainly are a lot louder and deeper. The Norman Hyde were reasonable and had a sweet gurgle on the over run. But every time the bike got wet they would rust around the mounting brackets. Easy enough to clean but very of putting. The Norman Hyde were better fitting and looked much neater. But can't have anything. Haven't had the bike out for a run yet as i am waiting for the clamps to come for the right side. But i did assemble it loosely and had a good listen and it was pretty raspy but not over offensive. Regards Joe.
Bob1. Yes the seat is starting to grow on me as i said always had black seats so i think that has thrown me a little. But the extra comfort will soon change my mind. Regards Joe.
Sandi T You got the blame now. I will tell every one you made me buy them. So now if you and Steve do make it over here one of you can ride that one. Especially if you are travelling from here to Scotland you will thank me for the extra comfort. But now i suppose it all depends on you full recovery. But i can wait. Regards and Thanks. Joe.
