I felt compelled to share this, to my eye it's one of the best looking Street Twins I have seen. So much work in it, thoughtful lines and attention to detail. Got me having ideas, apparently all the parts came from Triumph Hamburg.

Hmm, try as I might it doesn't do much for me. Can't quite see all the work you can see in it. Headlight and clock(s) have been switched, along with the bars and an out-of-proportion front guard fitted (which does look back to front). Don't know if that's a stripped down original rear guard or a replacement. Rear shocks changed and indicators gone. What else is there? Oh yes, a wrong-colour seat (black with brown..NO!)

    Front mudguard does look wrong.
Seat colour is wrong with black. :(

Same here not for me. Reminds me when we were kids and anything that we could fit was all right to get a bike on the road. But someone likes it as it says sold.

None of you have any taste!

Rear fender hugs the wheel with a smaller inset light. Low straight exhaust. Headlight with mounts following the frame and speedo combined. Hand grips and seat cover. Tank badge, silver side stand and to cap it off, a shiney brake reservoir.

Sorry mate. I have looked at it several times and it still looks like it was thrown together. Can't even lie a little to make you feel better. Perhaps if the mudguard was on correctly then the first point of eye contact might be fooled into believing someone is clever.
    Regards
    Joe.

OK, I will conced the front mudguard a bit, but mainly as I would worry about muck flicked up into the radiator, I even added the little extender to my stock Street Twin mudguard.

I do like the headlight, but would also want the speedo case and bezel to be shiney silver, ideally made of stainless.

Well, it would be dull if we all liked the same things!

I might stir up some controversy by saying this but I am not a fan of the newer Bonnies. Triumph is making them fatter, uglier, heavier, and more expensive. Frankly they are making the same marketing mistakes that a certain american motorcycle company has done. Around 2000-2004 they were in the zone. Now-- you made a good bike. MOVE ON. Try something else. ...J.D.

Perhaps it's because newer Bonnies riders are also wider and heavier!!

I do wish the Street Twin was 20-30kg lighter, for pushing around as much as anything. Seems odd that the Twin is heavier than the Triple.

Of course the triple is lighter than the twin - there's an additional hole in the engine block to start with!

Not at all keen on the flowerpot where the headlight ought to be, it’s just an assemblage of catalogue parts which add no function
