Will do Don, first job is to give her a damn good wash and polish. Then brake and clutch fluid changes, oil + filtre/air filtre/fuel filtre, fork oil change, and coolant. Check condition of : chain and sprockets, all bearings, all brake pads.

I recall the electrical connections on the starter solenoid were troublesome on my ST4s Dave. The solenoid is low down at the front of the engine (I'm assuming its the same set up on the ST3) and gets a fair amount of crap thrown up at it. Just keep the terminals liberally coated with moly grease and it solved the issue, well it did for me anyway. Other than that and the stuff you've mentioned, chain tension etc etc. Mine never gave me any bother in the time I had it.
