Happy UK/US Father’s Day guys. Funnily although NZ date is Sept 6th, we celebrated my dad’s 84 birthday today.:heart:

Yes here is the first of mine. My other boys don't live at home but i am sure i will hear from them some time today. And just had a phone call from my eldest boy from my first marriage. Quite nice.
Happy Fathers day to all. And a big one to Duckadiledundee.

It gave me real issues - until I spoke to a fellow motorcyclist and openly told him my issues - he made me realise - what i was feeling was quite normal ( whatever normal is) Thanks for posting

I received a nice hand made card from my youngest, a cup of tea from my wife and not even a good morning from my two eldest

Yet they suggested I buy them a takeaway of their choice....tough sh1t, wife had to cook fish fingers for them

Yep, that's what I got from my daughter

Got a mug from my son, and the pleasure of a cracking 110 mile round trip on the Bonneville to go see him... the Bonneville was running really sweet, great fun :D

Nope! Actually I probably should’ve used the laughing face rather than the eye roll. The eye roll just seemed a little more indicative of my first thought which was “leave it to DD to use an avatar that pokes at peoples thinking!” :(

Edit: ;) NOT :( I seem to be emoji— challenged today.

Yes in a way its true. My Brother in Law had a real dragon as a wife the devil in disguise. He refurbished a great house for her and his son in Bourne end a well to do area. She did the dirty on him and he got kicked out while she moved her new toyboy in. She accused him of attacking her and he got jailed for it. When he came out she had him banned from contact with his son. He came to live wit us which i didn't mind but a few months later he went up to bed and just gave up we found him there next morning and no reason just gave up. Hope i'm not boring you but it was good to get it of my chest. I do feel for you but this is what i believe in and its they will need you before you need them. Go ride your bike look into the joys and freedom it brings and be happy.
    Regards
    Joe.
