It is a slow burner, but it has some good payoff. The actors that play the serial killers in prison are excellent and many of those interviews are super creepy.

I loved Ford V Ferrari, @Jack Black! But it was a "dangerous" film for me to see, financially anyway, as in a roundabout way it led to this. ;):joy: Meet Mr. Bullitt.

    Nikki, DD? ;)

We'll check out the film. The fact that there was nobody in it that you really recognized in the film may be a plus!

I watched "BRITTOWN" last night and was really impressed.

It's an 80+ minute movie-style documentary (a moviementary?) about Jeff "MEATBALL" Tulinius - a motorcycle mechanic, builder, rider and racer .... not to mention rock band member, family man and, of course, lifelong lover of Triumphs!

The central figure - 'Meatball' - owns/runs a motorcycle business (repairs, builds, etc.) in Costa Mesa, California, and the movie, broadly speaking, follows him stripping, repairing, rebuilding and finally racing a 1971 650 T120 Bonneville. The film was made in 2008 and, though you don't have to be into Meriden Triumphs to enjoy the programme, it is very much centred on that era of 'bikes.

The music soundtrack did, occasionally, seem a little bit intrusive but, overall, was good and very much in keeping with the heavy focus on Meriden built Triumphs and one 1971 Bonneville in particular. The action/racing scenes are very good and don't feel in any way 'staged' and the whole approach to the programme is 'fly on the wall', with maybe a little bit of posed riding in the street scenes.

The movie does seem to provide an insight to one man's passion for Triumphs - something to which I'm sure many of us can immediately relate - and, though it doesn't have any particular "arc" (oooooohhh, get her ......... posh filmic review words!!) to the story, it does give a good picture of how someone can take a passion into a lifestyle and career.

It's available on Amazon and is free if you're a Prime member. Recommended.:)

Just watched Geronimo on Netflix. I enjoyed it, and would have even more if the subtitles for the Apache didn't disappear half way through

Bloodshot with Vin Diesel. I guess it was ok. It would have been better if I'd have waited until it came out for free.

Maybe Netflix figured viewers would have learned the Apache language by mid-movie?
