    I love just about everything on my Rocket 3R :heart_eyes: (CERBERUS :cool: )
    But I’m not a fan of that back end thingy :(
    I think it looks shite :poop:
    And now I know it’s shite :mad::poop:
    Got caught in some heavy downpours coming out of Yorkshire and the back of my jacket got filthy :mad:
    It’s crap and I want a proper mudguard not a stupid useless thing tacked on the back for legality reasons :mad:
    Would be even worse for a pillion :(

    Dilli, you could fabricate a mud guard/fender/hugger for Cerberus yourself! I see a new thread in the works--"Something for Cerberus Part Six". :) I think you're on six now, yes? A new mystery to solve for those who've not seen this particular thread. ;)

    Check out some trailer fenders. I'll bet you can find something that fits. or can be modified!

    Do you think it is direct spray, or indirect spray off of the wide tyre getting sucked in? I wonder if some sort of rubber or brushed lips on the the hugger would help reduce fine spray, perhaps they would get blown off.

    Not quite what I was originally thinking, but something like this;

    Doesn’t matter really because I don’t like the look of it the way it is :(
    I want to make a more traditional mudguard :)
    Been thinking hard about this as it needs to also fit and work along with the other stuff that I’ve made so far :confused:

    Im considering moving the rear fender up and connecting through the rear seat/ luggage holes.
    Like below but with a smaller number plate
    Corbin are working on something also but may only be for US plates

    That top picture is the sort of thing that I’m aiming for but a bit longer :)

    I don’t like that Corbin seat :(
    It almost looks like a tail bag has been strapped on :confused:

    The big Semi trailer rig's in the Eastern States of Australia have to run with anti spray device's above each wheel , inside the wheel arch they have a row of long broom bristles. The fine spray off the wheels has to pass through the bristles , they capture the spray , it runs down the bristles and turns into larger water droplets which then fall back to the road , with and without these devices is an awesome difference in the amount of road spray.

    Might look weird on your 2•5 ltr big rig :cool::p
    But it would work ;)

    It's all like a big jigsaw puzzle, then, Dilli? If you make a mudguard, what new mod will that then lead to? I know, I know, it's all part of the fun and "personalization". ;) And it certainly keeps us curious and entertained! :)
