    Hello all.
My name is Mark and I live in Chepstow.

Since the age of 20 I have owned dozens of bikes. I currently own a BMW R1100R and a Ducati 900ss, both which I intend to sell and buy a Sprint RS.
I have put an entry into the wanted section.

<Edit> After much reading on here I am also interested in post 2002 Sprint ST's or an alloy wheeled Tiger 955i (can't afford a Tiger 1050).

The Beemer is a lovely bike let down by its gearbox. I also tend to ride a little too spirited for its nature.
The Ducati is my attempt to relive a favorite bike from my youth but unfortunately my ageing body can no longer tolerate the ergos. I am 6'2".

The roads round here could be great but most of the surfaces are terrible.
Some of the roads North West into Wales or England toward Hereford are excellent.

In the past I have owned a Triumph Daytona 1000 and Daytona 955i and I am missing that Triumph feeling.

After a few requests I am uploading a pictures of my 900ss and R1100R

    Drive safe all,
    Mark

Welcome Mark. I quite fancy a Ducati 900SS or similar myself, but I’m not allowed. Too many projects already and not enough space........or free time.

Very nice bikes. Not hugely powerful but make the most of what they have and are very involving to ride. The ergos are pretty good (the fuel injected ones were torture racks) but I am now too old. I had one when I was in my early 30's bought new in 96 and I loved it. It was written off when a uninsured, banned driver did a u-turn into me when I was filtering through traffic in London.

Hi Mark & Welcome to the Forum

I used to own a Sprint RS back in the day, had a good bit of fun on it too! :)

Sorry the quality is poor but photo of a 20 year old photo is never great!
