Can't see any steak on that plate, I reckon they gave you extra beetroot and hoped you wouldn't notice.

Funny, :joy: but they load the eggs on top. It was a Rear scotch with mushroom sauce. Is a standard trucky (lorry drivers) breakfast

Sounds really tasty. I love beetroot but it's just a bit worrying when you get up in the middle of the night for a pee. There are a few seconds of "why's my pee such a strange colour ?" shock before you realise you ate tons of beetroot a few hours earlier.:D

Dropped the wheels off of it to take them to the shop. Getting a set of Conti Road Attack 3s put on next week. Will they need the wheel spacers to balance them out?

Hey, Duck! I'm impressed--not to mention surprised--to see cacti in your photo there!

"Rear Scotch", @Dartplayer?? Hmmm, what is that, pray tell? Sounds a little sketchy to me.

Rib-eye fillet is called Scotch fillet  in NZ. Cooked rare “seared”, not blue or medium rare (pink).

I don't think so. I don't take mine in on the principle that they're easy to get lost, and I've watched the guy in the workshop grab some general purpose spacers to mount them on his ballancing rig. Spacers don't spin (they clamp the inner races of the bearings) so whatever spacers are used can't affect the balance. That's my understanding anyway...

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. I was stumped by the word "rear". Here we call that "rare". "Rear" refers to "behind" so I thought it might have been a steak from the back end of the cow. ;)

I like them, too, Duck! My dad was a farmer (corn and soybeans) in Minnesota where my brother still farms the farm I grew up on (4th generation on that land). He used to love looking at all the desert plants when he and my mom would come out to see me in Arizona. He called them "survivor plants". :)

Tested the bike bare today without the Dart Classic fly screen
    43317614-1C37-4920-9AC2-42955B8312C8.jpeg
i do like the look without the screen, but I was surprised at how much I felt the wind blast on my chest leading to a less stable ride at 70 plus which would be the normal cruising speed
So I highly recommend one of these if it’s your thing:) so I stuck it back on again and harmony returned

one of the other things I like is it’s so quick to take off/put back:):)

Dry cleaned my Bike, polished the tank and side covers, cleaned the chain with WD40 then gave that and all bolts, exposed metal, disc brakes etc. a liberal coat of MO94. Then covered it. Hopefully it'll remain largely rust free and protected for the next couple of months. I miss it already.....
