Hi there, i am new to this forum but i am not new to the splendid brand of motorcycles we all love. I've riding british iron since the early 1980s. Started with a T140 wat got a T120 engine at a later date, bought an Harris Bonnie in 1985 (stil own it). In about 2010 got me a 1994 T300 Daytona followed a few years later by a 1996 T300 Trophy due to neck problems.wore this bike completely out, including a second engine and finally bought me a 2011 Bonneville with less than 6000 miles on it. Now i want to start to make this Bonnie a bit more personal and hope to find som hints and tips on this forum.
Tom Markus. Welcome to the family. Yes you really are as mad as the rest of us. You will fit right in here in the asylum. Nursey will be along soon with your meds. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your steed. And personal for me a quick peek at the Harris One of my favourite bonnie's. Just a pity it was just a short run of them as I am sure they would have got so much better. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe.
Hi Joe, thanks for the welcome. I wil try and post some pics of the Harris wich is a project running for over 20 years now. Rebuilt the engine with a Nourish head and the works. Stretched and lowered the bike, lost some weight like 100 lb or there about, Alloy Rims, stainless spokes. We were going to dragrace the bike, but never came to it because health issues, a divorce and more of this mayhem. But a lot is going better, so who knows...
