Been doing my daily commute and starting in the mornings with temp at -5c, during my hour ride it is only my finger tips that are chilled and aching.
So putting my hands on the engine block at traffic lights to bring blood flow to my fingers.

The Speedie is behaving nicely, I have some replacement LED indicators to be fitted this weekend, plus some red radiator guards to match the rest of the bike.

Replacement Brembo pads are coming in from Italy, £85 for all front pads delivered to my door from ebay. Half the price of Triumph originals

She will soon be needing an oil and filter change, plus the plugs.
The engine valves will be left to the Triumph dealer, I don't think I am quite there yet myself.

    Eugh... Pistons are out.
Got it all connected on the bike again and tried to bleed it through, no pressure built up.
By this time I was about ready to kick the old man out of the garage (He gets pissy and impatient - I don't. Figured we'd drain it again and I'll bring it in, stick it on our rayburn.
Worked fine, pulled them out. The pistons seemed fine aside from the grooves the pliers cut into them (typical..)
Yea those grooves were filled with 60% shit and 40% seal.

So, now I just need to fork out £250 to replace everything that's been wrecked by months of coping with binding brakes >.<

Two days.. About 3-4 hours each time.
Figure because we left the calliper off for so long, air was introduced into the top. Should have taken off the cable and cleared it but I got tired of listening to the old fart getting grumpy about the cold. >.<

Wired my new intercom into my helmet this morning, seems to be working OK,bloody miracle considering my past record with anything vaguely technology related.

Wife has decided the Tiger's not for her so spent yesterday afternoon at a bike dealers and most of this morning trawling the internet.......trouble is she's looking at a BMW

Went out for first ride of the year. Was going to go to Gretna Green with the missus on pillion, but the fog was horrendous, so stopped half way for a brew and a sausage butty, nice. Met up with a pal on his America LT and ran in convoy back to Dumfries. Missus is just loving coming out on the America, evn on a damp foggy january day !!!! Roll on spring.

Didn't take too long to wash off and my youngest daughter traded a short ride on pillion for giving me a hand washing and drying the bike. Now sat in the garage with the dehumidifier running just to dry the last bit of water off.
