The instructions on the S100 spray can say it can be used both for riding season and for winter layup. In the former case, it is meant to be sprayed on and immediately buffed out, with the process repeated several times during riding season. For winter layup, the directions say to spray it on and allow it to stand, buffing it out only once the bike is put back in service. We'll find out how it does!
I bought the WD-40 dry lube with PTFE and will use it and report back. I do not want stuff that is PTFE free, that was what Stuart Fillingham liked about GT-85. I bet the WD-40 is pretty near the same stuff. It's done. I will let you know how it works.
Oh, yes. Sorry. I used it on a wash and it works fine, I think it is pretty much similar to Stuart's favored product. I like it.
I use and can thoroughly recommend ACF50. It does the same thing as GT85. It's a bit more expensive but can't vouch whether you can get it in the US.
