Officially joined the club today guys. I last owned a motorcycle in 2003, a Suzuki Intruder Volusia. I recently decided the time to reengage this hobby is now. Internet searching lead me to the Triumph Speedmaster.

This machine is everything I was looking for. I went to a local dealer that had (5) 2018 in stock, including one two-tone. I did my very best to negotiate, and while the bike discount was great, by the time all the fees were added, I was not where I wanted to be. Then this one popped up out of state. 1002 miles, 500 mile service complete, and nice Triumph accessories. The asking cost was super good, we made a deal, and the rest is history. I fretted a little over the transport, but it arrived exactly as loaded on to the truck.

I got a few laps in around the neighborhood, the mileage is up to 1009! Thanks to everyone here; I have been learning a lot about Triumph and look forward to participating. 20200501_150142.jpg 20200501_150122.jpg 20200501_144106.jpg

Hi Dartplayer That's what I want to do to my ride , your bike looks very sharp and you have answered a question That I have posted I think ,the spool you use with the racing stand have carbon buildup by the look of it or they painted black in the second pic you posted

Carbon buildup, but I do run a booster plug. I usually polish them up when I do my rims
