Vine is a c**t and whoever chose that gobshite Berry to speak for bikers got exactly what they wanted. A load of nonsense from both of them and Berry did nothing to promote bikers as anything other than irresponsible yobs.
Also no mention of the hoards of 4x4 and other car drivers who did exactly the same thing and the lycra clad Spandex bandits on bicycles were also ignored.
Not entertaining, not informative and not worth listening to.

I agree. As they say in these parts, it's just holding the cat's arse to the fire.

Yes, it's a useful expression: plenty of situations it applies to....

He epitomises the BBC..... bunch of left wing toony t...ts

He’s an ardent cyclist and hates bikes and fast cars in general, I didn’t listen to the sanctimonious git on this occasion but was unlucky enough to come across him whining on his tv show a few weeks ago

That said living by Kielder as we do, the weekend warriors are back and they’re doing biking no good judging by comments heard by me and other ‘Tarset Chapter’ members

Never mind I’ll just have to go back down our pub this afternoon and drink real ale by myself in the sunshine

Seeing as this is now becoming the unofficial Radio 2 thread, what are peoples thoughts on the all Day Pop Master today hosted by Lord Ken of Bruce?

I'm loving it myself, especially hearing the Celebrities getting trounced by the listening public.:)

I'm sure Mr J Vine is a nice bloke if you met him down the pub DD (assuming we can ever go back to pubs that is). My beef with him is he is a crap DJ and even worse at interviewing people over the airways (just my humble opinion of course). Not that he'd probably want to do that slot, but Ken Bruce comes over as a much more relaxed character. Some people have 'the gift' and others don't. Look at people like David Attenborough, a national treasure and a natural in front of the camera and in his narration Its not just JV, Piers Morgan is another crap, overpaid tosser. My opinion again of course.
