Tiger 800 Fork Seal Leaking

Check the bike today, front left fork was a bit oily. cleaned it off and went for a spin (shopping) came back and checked it, yep its leaking. only done 4450 mls.

 

It may be a single piece of grit. Try a shim of plastic soft and smooth.Dont scratch the slider,ffs

 

https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/fork-seal-protection.18586/ thats the shape of it, i made mine out of a plastic milk bottle which worked a treat, still didnt stop the leak tho' so had to change the seals, after 22,000 miles tho. suggest getting a level measuring tool if you do, so much easier

 

New seals fitted, ready for a test ride now.
