If you think that sounds bad Tig I started out with a Lambretta Li 150 Silver Special - in 1968. Had it delivered on my Wednesday afternoon off. Took me most of the afternoon just to get it to be able to move off without stalling. The following day I went to work on it - in the Headrow, Leeds. Never looked back after that.
1964 Start, Tiger Cub, apprenticeship, 59 Thunderbird, 65 Bonneville. Looking forward to seeing some of yer at Buxton
Been at the wine again Big Fella? Started Training already? I've started working my way up to a full mug of Horlicks
Not this morning Pete - re training if we're talking about drinking fit, I'm quietly confident of a satisfactory performance. It's just a matter of maintaining a good level of fitness - PERMANENTLY
Now that you mention that 'through the night' problem - what goes in must come out At regular intervals - not again !!!!!!!!!

I've been riding for 33 years, for all of those years I've been riding Lambrettas and Vespas. As well as my current Triumph Speedmaster, I have a 1964 Lambretta TV200, 1979 Lambretta GP200 and I'm just about to buy a brand new Vespa 300. Scooters………. I LOVE 'em !!! BTW those TV175 and LI 150 Special Lambrettas would be worth a few grand each now..
Just read all the thread and sounds like a good idea But my annual firm shutdown is those 2 weeks in August if me and the better half don't book anything Which we possibly won't as we are having an extension built this year and will have too much to do I might be able to squeeze in a day trip to meet you fellas
Hi Scoot, so, I'm told, would the Mustang Mach 1 convertible that I had when I was 22 - bugger, bugger bugger bugger !!!!
Been off line for over a week, ho joy to be back on, missed you guys!!! I'm in for the great meet up ,not sure if I can make the 3 nights, 2 should be fine. Anyone booked a B&B for the meet? or can anyone recommend one ? La Roca
Excellent news. There are several Bnb's in and around Buxton but a number of us are staying at : http://www.peakpub.co.uk/camping/
Well I've booked the time off at work. Boss lady read the post's and decided she didn't want to go.I think you lot frightened her off I haven't decided what to do about accommodation yet,I'll look into some options but it might be bunk barn or camping, which could be interesting as I haven't got a tent or sleeping bag
Well that's great news that you'll be around for this get-together RR - shame your better half won't be there but I can understand with all the farting and belching that she might not fancy it. I've lost track a bit of who's confirmed for Peak District get-together, can someone help me please? I think I've been doing too much training?
